Nano Banana Pro Challenge: The “Worst Business Ideas Ever”

Last Updated: December 3, 2025By

We asked Nano Banana Pro to market waterproof toast, canned air, cardboard helmets, and rental paparazzi- and the results were alarmingly professional.

We’ve all had those days where we stare at a screen and wonder, “Is this actually a good idea, or have I just had too much coffee?”

Well, today at AI Spark, we decided to lean into the bad ideas.

In fact, we wanted to see if we could take the absolute worst business concepts imaginable and use Nano Banana Pro to make them look like million-pound start-ups.

The goal? To test out the latest text-rendering and image composition skills of this new AI. But mostly, just to have a laugh.

Here is what happened when we asked Nano Banana Pro to design the marketing for the world’s most useless products:

1. The HydroToast™ Pro

First up, we tackled a problem absolutely nobody has: soggy toast in the bath.

We asked Nano Banana Pro to create a high-tech schematic for “waterproof bread,” and honestly, I’m kind of worried by how good this looks. It came up with HydroToast™ Pro, featuring a “Nano-Shield Crust” that repels butter entirely.

The “Sub-Aquatic Nutrition” tagline really sells it. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to eat crunchless, dry toast whilst scuba diving.

The AI even nailed the glowing, tech-style cross-section of the bread, making it look like a serious piece of engineering rather than just… well, bread.

2. The Aspen Can

Next, we wanted to poke a bit of fun at the luxury wellness industry. You know the type—super expensive, very white, and minimal.

We created The Aspen Can. It claims to offer an “exclusive three-breath experience” of curated altitude atmosphere.

My favorite part? The “Biometric Smart-Seal” which means you can’t even open your empty can of air without a Bluetooth connection and a monthly subscription.

It looks so expensive that I almost want to buy one, until I remember it weighs less than 1g because it is literally empty.

3. The ISO-BOX™ Pro

We’ve all worked in an open-plan office and wished we could just hide. So, we invented the ISO-BOX™ Pro.

Essentially, it is a cardboard box on your head. But with the right lighting and some fancy words like “Acoustic Muffling Barrier,” Nano Banana Pro made it look like a £499 piece of essential tech.

The promise to “Reclaim Your Headspace. Literally” is the kind of marketing copy that makes you nod along before you realize how silly it is. It captured the texture of the cardboard perfectly against that high-end office background.

4. Rent-A-Paparazzi

Finally, we had to do something truly British. We created a service called Rent-A-Paparazzi.

The concept is simple: you pay starting from £1,200 per hour to have people chase you through the Tesco car park, shouting “Who are you wearing?!”

I love how the AI handled the text on the sign in the background: it actually spelled TESCO correctly! The “glamour squad” lighting perfectly captures that “fake it until you make it” energy.

It makes a trip to buy milk look like the event of the year.

The Verdict?

What I love about this experiment is that it shows how far AI image generation has come. A few months ago, putting specific text like detailed price tags or brand names on an image was nearly impossible. Now, we can create complex, funny, and story-driven infographics in seconds.

It just goes to show that even if your idea is terrible (like waterproof toast), your presentation can still be perfect!

About Nano Banana Pro

You might be wondering what tool we used to create these text-heavy, highly detailed images. We used Nano Banana Pro (which is a nickname for the latest Google Gemini Advanced models).

Unlike older image generators that struggle with words (often turning them into alien scribbles), this model excels at “Text Rendering.” It understands context, humour, and can place accurate text directly onto 3D objects, signs, and posters.

If you want to try creating your own “useless” products or just some really great marketing materials for your actual business, you can access these capabilities via Gemini Advanced:
